The Blackbird – this beautiful old set dance was taught to Edwina by dance master Patrick O’ Dea at his class during Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy. There are many versions of the Blackbird and this one features the steps of North Kerry travelling dance master Jeremiah Molyneaux also know as Munnix and dancers Lillie McEvoy and Mossie Walsh.
Edwina breaks down the steps on both right and left foot across 5 one hour classes.
This course is best suited to intermediate – advanced dancers.
