Sean Nós Dance 3 Day Workshop January 2027

15, 16, & 17 JANUARY 2027 – MOHILL, CO. LEITRIM

Edwina Guckian will host a 3 day Sean Nós Dance workshop in the beautiful Leitrim town of Mohill. This course is specifically for experienced dancers of an intermediate – advanced standard in percussive dance. (adults & teenagers). The workshops will focus on pure sean nós dance: rhythms, style, fluidity, spontaneity, responding and dancing the tune. The Canon Donohoe Hall with its beautifully sprung maple dance floor will be home to the dancers for the weekend.

Friday 15th workshop: 6 – 9pm Saturday 16th workshop: 11 – 4pm (Lunch provided for all dancers) followed by night time dancing event. Sunday 17th workshop: 12 – 5pm (Lunch provided for all dancers)

Note: Attending the course for 1 day only is not possible. The workshops progress from one to the next and the group will learn, move and create together right through the weekend. Accommodation: There are several options of accommodation available in and close to Mohill from self catering, B&B to Hotels in Carrick on Shannon. Please contact Edwina if you need help with this.
